ANNA: Workshop on AI for Networks and Networking for AI: Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a potent instrument within the domain of network systems. It assumes a pivotal role in intricate tasks spanning data center networking, time-sensitive networking, industrial networking, cloud-edge computing, the Internet of Things, and next-generation cellular wireless networks, and has precipitated a fundamental transformation in the design methodologies across all layers of the protocol stack. On the other hand, the backend AI training clusters necessitate an entirely new approach to network construction to effectively manage the traffic generated by distributed GPUs. Hence, the network design should feature deterministic delays and lossless deep buffering mechanisms, for which are crucial for mitigating unwanted congestion and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the AI training environment. This workshop endeavors to assemble experts from the fields of networks and AI for facilitating the dissemination of cutting-edge research findings in the areas of "AI for networks" and "Networking for AI".We invite submissions from academia, government and industry that present novel research on the topics as following areas:
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for data center networking
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for time-sensitive networking
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for cloud computing
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for vehicular networks
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for airborne networks
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for satellite networks
- AI-powered modeling, methods, evaluations for NextG cellular networks
- Network design and traffic management for optimizing AI training
- AI-driven networking architectures/topologies
- AI-driven transport/ flow scheduling/load balancing
- AI-driven network resource allocation
- Explainable AI solutions on and for communications and networking
