Introduction

IEEE GreenCom-2023 is held in Ocean Flower Island, Hainan, China, December 17-21, 2023. Computer networks, communication systems, and other IT infrastructures have a growing environmental footprint due to the significant amounts of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission. To address such problems and create a sustainable environment, new energy models, algorithms, methodologies, platforms, tools and systems are required to support next-generation computing and communication infrastructures. Thus, green computing and communications solutions should be designed to better integrate renewable energy sources, to improve energy efficiency, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and harmful materials.

Due to the free trade port policy, Hainan is visa-free for people from 59 countries. For details, please refer to the links of notice by the Government and the Moodie Davitt Report.

Please view the Aerial video of Ocean Flower Island (海花岛).

News:

  • China tries out unilateral visa-free policy for six countries (France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia).

  • For proceeding of each author, please check the latest Program booklet.
