The 2024 Smart Grid Colloquium
in conjunction with the 2024 IEEE Cybermatics Congress
August 19 - 22, 2024, Copenhagen, Denmark
The Smart Grid Colloquium is an event organized by GEIRI Europe GmbH, which aims to explore the latest developments and innovations in the field of modern power sys-tems.
With the increasing electricity demand, the integration of renewable energy sources, and the growing emphasis on sustainability, traditional power grids are facing signifi-cant challenges. In response to these challenges, the concept of the smart grid has emerged as a transformative solution. A smart grid is an intelligent and interconnected energy system that leverages advanced technologies, such as smart sensors, real-time data analytics, communication networks, automated control systems, energy stor-age and renewable energy technologies, to optimize the efficiency, reliability, and sus-tainability of the power grid.
The Smart Grid Colloquium brings together industry experts and researchers from di-verse backgrounds to explore the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the field of smart grids. This colloquium serves as a platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration among participants.
This year the Colloquium in conjunction with the 2024 IEEE Cybermatics Congress will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, between the 19th and 22nd of August and it is being hosted by DTU.
